# Leveling Up Your Aurai

> Each Aurai begins its journey at base level and can be upgraded anytime for just 1 SUI per level. As your Aurai levels up, its aura strengthens — evolving visually and rising on the global leaderboard. The deeper it goes, the more it syncs with the Surge protocol. Where it leads… is up to you.
